Background

Sibylle Loyrette was born in 1978 and holds Swiss and French nationalities. She was educated in France and Germany and is a member of the Paris and Zurich (Art. 28 BGFA) bars.

In 2002 she received her LL.M. and her admission as a lawyer in Paris.

Professional career

Before founding her own private client dedicated practice in 2012, Sibylle Loyrette practiced in major American and French law firms in Paris, specializing in white collar crimes and especially market abuses. In addition to numerous publications on this subject, she wrote 2007 a ​specialized book Le contentieux des abus de marché.

In 2009 Sibylle Loyrette moved to Zurich and joined SIX Exchange Regulation, the self- regulation organ of the Swiss stock exchange, as a lawyer monitoring major shareholders and management transactions.
